Jami's opened its first store on Fifth Avenue South in 1971 and after five relocations, this street still retains a major presence here. The company now has 5 locations in South Florida in addition to its executive office and its 10,000 sq. ft. distribution center.

Jami's specializes in contemporary clothing for the modern woman. Over 60 percent of its clothing and accessories are specifically designed and fabricated for the Florida lifestyle and produced exclusively for the Jami's and JCC stores. The JCC (Just Comfortable Clothing) stores is the casual daywear division of the company.

Jami's was chosen "Retailer of the Year" in a competition with all other women's clothing stores in the southeastern United States twice ('96 & '01). Jami's has also been chosen as "Best Women's Clothing" in SW Florida 5 years in a row ('04-'05-'06-'07-'08).
